our second annual fic fest where harry potter meets taylor swift
Rules:
The fest will ~formally~ start on May 13th giving you a couple of weeks to ask us questions before things get started.
You send us an ask and give us a ship/pairing (any ship you want! Wolfstar, Jily, Rarry, Jegulus, Hedric, Moonchaser…) we give you a Taylor Swift song to use as inspiration.
What’s different about The Eras Tour?We will be celebrating two different Taylor Swift eras at a time. Depending on the time frame you send an ask, depends on the albums you will get a song from!

Similar to last time we won’t be honoring specific song requests from the era(s) because we know there are some albums/songs that are more popular than others, and we want to give all of Taylor’s music a chance to shine!
Your submission can be writing or fanart, feel free to interpret the lyrics of the song as liberally as you’d like!
You can absolutely request multiple songs, but please do not exceed more than two requests per Era.
Your initial request must be posted before you can request a new one.
If you think a song might be too daunting, you can request a specific lyric as inspiration (please put this in your ask as [ship] + lyric)

If they are on AO3, they can be added to the Cruel Summer 2023collection.
Posting ends byAugust 13th (😉), so prompt requests will likely close ~a week prior (more on that as the date approaches).
Draco took the letter opener from his desk and slid it through the crease of the parchment envelope. He had been waiting over a week now. His hands trying not to wrinkle the parchment, because he knew she would never forgive him for such a thing. Sliding the thin parchment document from within out onto his desk, he couldn’t deny his heart was swelling with pride and joy. He stared down at his beautiful wife and the gorgeous baby girl she held in her arms. His new daughter.
Since the end of the war, efforts among the wizarding community to heal and rebuild together had created many new opportunities for a better future. The Shelter Program for those whose homes were destroyed. The much needed Here For You program which provided witches, wizards, and all kinds of magical folk support and therapy to handle the mourning in the aftermath. And probably most important… The Adoption Program. For wizarding children without a home or family to call their own after the thousands of deaths.
Their application process had been long, painful, and absolutely emotionally destructive, but with both their determination and love for each other, it had been worth it.
With his house arrest sentence to finish within the year, Hermione had made the trip to Italy to pick up their daughter and sign the last document. And now, in his hands he held her birth certificate. The small moving picture of Hermione playing with Naomi and mouthing the words “Hi Daddy!”
It was all Draco could do to keep from jumping up and running around their flat, shouting in joy and excitement. Finally, he was a daddy.
